  • App crash on MBP 2017 MacOS 10.13 Beta (17A352a)

Before update I was running the app OK

    After I updated the OS:
I created a folder within ACDSEE interface, cut-paste files into that folder - the App crashed.
I could not view files in that folder - the App would crash every time I navigated inside the folder

Cleaned up database - no luck.

Now the app crashes at startup when I open an image or when I run the App from a Dock, It crashes when I navigate to any folder with images.
    Totally unusable

    Hi susic,

Thank you for your feedback. May I ask some questions:

    1) Which version of ACDSee Beta are you running? Beta 6 or Beta 7?
    2) Where is the folder located that you pasted to? local drive, removable drive, or network share?
    3) Could you provide the Problem Report that appears when the app crashes?

I understand you cleaned the database but that didn't fix the issue. Could you please try the steps given in the following post and re-install ACDSee Beta 7 (build 4.0.488):

    Thank you,
    David

      1) Beta 6, 4.0.430
      2) Local drive, inside Dropbox folder
      3) https://www.dropbox.com/s/14v6iccq8p...eport.rtf?dl=1

      4) Reinstall.
      We are in business
      Works fine so far.

Will create a separate thread if network folder issue persists in the newer version.
