  • Layered Photoshop File thumbnails are completely white.

I have a number of Photoshop files in a folder and they have two layers each, a background and an image above. The thumbnails are completely white. Is there a setting I can change to enable being able to see these? I've gone to tools and looked a 'IDE_PSD.apl' and it had no options.

As I understand it, ACDSee only supports single layer PSDs. This is not uncommon in the non Adobe software world. PaintShop Pro also does not support multi-layer PSDs.

Since years the release notes say:
        Code:
ACDSee does not preserve layers when editing PSD and TIFF files.
This does not mean that it doesn't support previews or thumbnails for layered PSDs. My AC Ulti 10 displays PSDs created with PS pretty good.

Are you saving them for maximum compatibility?
