  • Pro vs ultimate

Hi, what is the difference between pro and ultimate. Thanks

  • #2
A more advanced bit mapped editor in Ultimate. Ultimate has everything Pro does, but it also supports Layers, and Photoshop plugins. This would mean almost anything you need to do to a photo can be done from within ACDSee Ultimate.without having to invoke something like Photoshop. (Clearly there are some things that ACDSee can't do that Photoshop can, but it does all the important stuff that most people want, I think)

In Edit Mode, Pro supports plugins. I don't use Photoshop plugins, but Topaz Labs plugins. I think Nik Collection is accepted. And I do not Use Ultimate, because I "work"in conjunction with Affinity Photo.

I have a doubt : in Pro 10, in Edit Mode, the Brush Selection Tool has the "magic" option ? I do not find it. Only in Ultimate 10 or I lost it ?
        Thant you.

According to the documentation, the magic selection tool does not exist in Pro (only in Ultimate).
