  • Unable to call certain photo editors

    I find this very odd.

Obviously I work on a Mac, but I also have Parallels installed and sometimes run a Windows VM. On that VM I have several photo editors, including Photoshop and PaintShop Pro. I can easily choose to call one of the Windows VM editors from most of my workflow tools by just navigating to the Parallels folder and picking out the editor I want. Here is a screen shot showing the call window from Dxo's PhotoLab. As you can see I have my choice of pretty much whatever photo editor I want to choose, including both Photoshop and PaintShop Pro.

However when I use ACDSee Pro 4 and choose to call an external editor, also using the Windows VM folder, my choices are far less. Here is the screen shot.

Here my only choice is Photoshop. Why does ACDSee not allow me the same set of choices as other workflow tools? In particular why can I not call PaintShop Pro if I wish to do so?
