  • Functionality question

I work on a Mac and have been using the Mac version of this software but it is far less functional than the Windows version so I decided to try the Windows version. Since I have Parallels on my Mac I can run Windows and I installed the Ultimate trial today. I have been playing around with it but am a bit puzzled by what seems to me to be a lack of consistency between the versions.

On the Mac version I can visually see the focus mask. That is, if I enable the focusing panel and press the 'E' button I get a black and white rendering of the image and adjusting the mask shows me what parts of the image will be sharpened by the Amount and Radius controls. I can then set the mask strength to where I will sharpen those edges I want sharpened without also sharpening parts of the image I do not want adjusted. I looked for a way to do that on the Windows version but have not found one. Is there some way to do that on the Windows version?

Thank you for any help you can give me.

Try pressing the "ALT KEY with the sharpening mask slider.

Thank you. That works even under Parallels.
