  • On XP after downloading a pic it opens up a new window in ACDSee - setting?

Sorry for some odd reason the title length is very limited.

I would like to know if it would be possible to stop the system opening up a new ACDSee window every time after a pic is downloaded, taking me straight into view or edit mode in ACDSee.

I would guess there is a setting for that somewhere, like view in ACDSee after download?

I do download a lot of pics every day and this has been annoying me for a long time.

I'd be grateful if anyone could help me out with this.

This sounds like something specific to your browser. It really isn't anything about ACDSee. Presumably, ACDSee is set as the default application for opening images, and you probably want that continue (if not, there is a Windows settings to change that to something else). You just don't want the act of downloading an image using whatever browser you use to actually open the image. So check your browser settings.
