Is there a way to apply parent keywords at the same time as subkeywords?

Hi Gavin,

Currently there is no way to automatically apply parent keywords when you apply a child keyword. However, when you search a parent keyword, the search results include all its children.

I have recently downloaded the trial for studio professional 2020 and am considering buying the software. I have imported my hierarchical keyword library from Adobe Bridge and can not seem to find a way to have the corresponding parent keywords be applied when I apply sub keywords.

For example with a long taxonomic hierarchy of:

Eukarya < Animalia < Chordata < Aves < Passeriformes < Passeridae < Passer domesticus

When I select just the species name (Passer domesticus) it does not select the parent keywords. This is a deal breaker for me because it is too time consuming to apply each one separately.
