Where do the databases live. Is there one for each disk drive and/external device. Also can you move them to take advantage of faster SSD drives or keep them off the disks that you have catalogued?

Hi goodwin,

The database for ACDSee Photo Studio 4 for Mac is stored in folder "/Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Application Support/ACD Systems/ACDSee" and the database file name is "com.ACDSystems.ACDSeePhotoStudio (version 7.0).mediaDatabase".

Unfortunately, the database location cannot be moved to a different disk. But I will submit a feature enhancement request to the ACDSee product management team, so they will consider implementing a feature to let you move the database location to a different place, in future version of ACDSee Photo Studio for Mac.
