  • Grouping/Stacking of RAW and JPG photos

    Hi all

I'm shooting photos as RAWs + JPEGs files. So I would like to group/stack these two files with Photo Studio for Mac 4, unfortunately I haven't found any auto stacking configuration or any other possibilities to do this. Preferred workflow: Grouping/Stacking for previewing photos and deleting (both versions) of unwanted photos.

    How can I do this?
Or is this not possible with ACDSee Photo Studio for Mac 4?

    Thanks in advance
    Stefan

    Hello stefanp,

I am sorry but grouping & image stacking is not available in Photo Studio for Mac 4. I forwarded your request to the product development team for consideration in a future release.

    Thank you,
    Mark

      Hi all

It looks like the Photo Studio for Mac 5 have still no image grouping & stacking functions. Does someone have any smart idea how to manage jpg and raw preview including deleting of unwanted images couples?

I haven't found another solution yet:

1.) Moving all raw files to a subfolder and rename the raw files to jpg (change extension from "*.nef" to "*.jgp")
2.) Preview all jpg files (in the main directory) with ACDSee and deleting the bad ones
3.) Afterwards comparing both directories (with Free File Sync) and deleting the jpg-files which exist only in the subfolder

That works but is too "expensive".

      Regards,
      Stefan
