Prevent ACDSee icon from appearing in the Menu

Hello,
I am moving from Windows to Mac and have been using ACDSee for over ten years. I would prefer that the software not load every start and not have the application in the menu bar. Is there a way to prevent this behaviour on Mac? I know that this is intended as a feature but it is not necessary because I will not use the ACDSee cloud or mobile sync features.

Hi GreenApple,

To remove the icon from the menu bar, open ACDSee Preferences, and in the General tab, uncheck Show icon in menu bar.

Thanks, I don't know how I missed that !
For the Mac version, we will not use mobile sync, is there a setting to disable this feature at startup?
I know that the icon is removed but in the menu bar icon there was an option to "stop" mobile sync. I could not find anything in the Preferences.

Hi GreenApple,

There's no setting to disable this feature. It's also used to run the Indexer feature, so it's useful even if you don't use Mobile Sync.
