  • How do I do a "Match ALL" and not an "OR"

I am trying to Match ALL (Two items on the far right) but the search always brings up an "OR"......I don't know how to change it to an "AND". Thanks for any help.

I have always had problems with the "Quick Search" feature. If I enter Emily and George I want to see photos that have both of them in them but I get photos that have either Emily or George in them. Would've thought Ver 9 would have corrected this.

According to https://help.acdsystems.com/en/acdse...Search_bar.htm one way to get the results is to use the Classic Quick Search feature.

Another method is using the Selective Browsing Pane. This is new (to me): https://help.acdsystems.com/en/acdse...WSING_PANE.htm

I'm sure Greyfox will be along with even more tips on searching.

Thanks Howard but the two links above are not for the MAC version and not applicable to the MAC 9. I have pushed so many buttons and about to the conclusion that "in the MAC version, you can not search for two "keywords" and have it be an "and". Hope that makes sense. It seems that you have to search for one keyword and one category to make the "and" distinction. Otherwise it brings up ALL of one and ALL of another but not just what the search was intended with the "AND".....Still hoping for some ACDSee input. Thanks. Karen
