Another method is using the Selective Browsing Pane. This is new (to me): https://help.acdsystems.com/en/acdse...WSING_PANE.htm
I'm sure Greyfox will be along with even more tips on searching.

Thanks Howard but the two links above are not for the MAC version and not applicable to the MAC 9. I have pushed so many buttons and about to the conclusion that "in the MAC version, you can not search for two "keywords" and have it be an "and". Hope that makes sense. It seems that you have to search for one keyword and one category to make the "and" distinction. Otherwise it brings up ALL of one and ALL of another but not just what the search was intended with the "AND".....Still hoping for some ACDSee input. Thanks. Karen

Hi karelowe and AVux!2021,
To match all, please try as follows:
1. Drag and drop those two items into the Quick Search bar. Using karelowe's example, ACDSee searches for "keyword":"kits" OR "keyword":"Anna Aspnes"
2. Change the OR to an AND, and hit return.
If you like, you can also save your search for easy reuse:
1. In the Quick Search bar, click the magnifying glass icon.
2. From the dropdown menu, select Saved Searches > Save.
Hope this helps!
Regards,
David
