Recently I started to have a key issue when I try to use the menu item ">Tools>Metadata>Embed ACDSee Metadata in All Files" or ">Tools>Metadata>Embed ACDSee Metadata in Selected Files". The issue is simply that the app crashes and has to be restarted. I have not figured out if the number of files selected makes any difference, as sometimes I select six files and sometimes 200. In either case the app sometimes crashes and sometimes it works. Any ideas why this woud happen, and what I can do about it?

David,
I have been away from ACDSee Forum for a while. So when I came back I noticed that some people were talking about a version 7. But when I go to "check for updates" my ACDSee tells me "You're up to date! ACDSee Photo Studio 6 version 6.4 (1801) is currently the newest version available."
So am I missing something?
Regards,
Tahunga

Hi David,
thanks for sending me these links. I downloaded the trial version of the Mac version 7, had a quick and serious look at it, and bought it. So get ready for my feedback.
.....and here is the first one: Yes, you are right (as usual) the issue with the embedding of information (such as keywords, etc) is fixed in version 7.
Regards,
Tahunga
