Add a Keyboard Shortcut for Rename in both the View and the Browse modules.

Hi OldRadioGuy,
The Rename shortcut is command + option + return. This works in both Manage mode and View mode, provided you have a single rename-able item selected (e.g. file or folder).
Note you can also customize shortcuts in the ACDSee Preferences dialog (via Mouse and Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts).

David, thanks for this clarification. I printed the keyboard shortcut file from Help and overlooked this shortcut, perhaps because the "Resulting action" definition "Allows you to rename the file" does not the follow the format of the other shortcuts: i.e. "Labels image green," Displays images as thumbnails," "Creates new folder," etc. Better would be Renames the file.Originally posted by david@acd View Post
