New features in Version 5

Have requested that a healing tool and a clone tool be added to Version 4. This never happened. Are either or both of these tools available in Version 5?

Unfortunately, the answer is "no." See the release notes for new features.

Based on past performance, it could be several more versions (years) before the Mac version achieves parity with ACDSee Windows apps when it comes to editing and repair -- if ever. Meantime, enjoy the search speed of version 5's DAM, and farm out the editing work to something like Affinity Photo.

Thank you OldRadioGuy. I have used Apple Photos to make healing corrections. Unfortunately the corrected photo after export from Photos lost all metadata and IPTC information. Will Affinity Photo retain that information?
