search in subfolders

Hello, when I try to search in chosen folders, subfolders are not included? Is it possible to include subfolders in the search?

Hi,

Please make sure that you select the "Specific folder and categories" option, then click the "Add..." button under the "In any of the following folders" field and turn on the "include sub-folder" checkbox.

Hi fharald8344,

On Mac, please try the following:

1. In the Folder pane, select the desired folder(s).
2. In the Quick Search bar, click the magnifying glass icon. In the dropdown menu:
   1. Enable Search Selected Folders Only.
   2. Change the search method from Database Search to Spotlight Search.
3. Input the search query.

Note that Spotlight Search includes subfolders of selected folders but Database Search does not.
