Facilitating Keyword Selection

I should have clarified that I only use IPTC keywords. I do not want to be constrained to using only ACDSee when organizing my images. I wonder if I am in the minority. I like how powerful the Organize pane is, I am just wanting for a more powerful and easy to use IPTC keyword editor.

You're right, I had AC keywords in mind only and was focused to the very long list of keywords in the catalogue pane. :-)

And that is exactly what the method you showed in the other thread does. As I type each letter the list of keywords jumps closer.
The was no mention of IPTC in the original post, just keywords.

Assigning IPTC keywords in languages using compound nouns in AC is a pain in the ass!
Many years ago a drop-down list was added to the AC keywords in Properties-Organize pane but they forgot to add it to the IPTC keywords [big sigh!].

Hi DanVM and brajaq,
In ACDSee Photo Studio 9 for Mac, we added a Filter Keywords feature. With each letter typed, your keyword list gets narrowed down to only show matches. This makes finding keywords easy, no matter how long your keyword list is.
Please give it a try!

Facilitating Keyword Selection
I have a long list of keywords and it is cumbersome to have to scroll to the ones I want to select. Please allow us to type the keyword, jumping closer to the matching keyword with each letter typed. Thank you!Tags: None
