I'm new to ACDSee Photo Studio 7 for Mac and have installed and registered my license successfully. I have 12,000+ photos which I have recently gone through with Excire Foto to use their AI to generate and place keywords for all photos. I read a lot of articles and reviews online about how ACDSee's DAM is one of the best so I decided to get PS7 to get started on my DAM and post-processing work. THE PROBLEM - I can now see all 12,000+ photos in ACDS...but no keywords are present for any photos!! When I saved my photos for export from Excire Foto, I saved all with metadata/keywords saved in XMP files. If ACDS PS7 can't use industry standard XMP file-saved metadata and keywords, then I am going to have to get a full refund from ACD. This is looney-tunes...and I am not going to go back and re-do keywords for 12,000+ photos! Any assistance or instructions to help me solve this will be most gratefully appreciated!! I sent a request into ACD Tech Support 4 days ago but haven't heard 1 thing from them...so much for "ACD cares about their customers"😔👎!
