  • Print window confusion

When I attempt to print from ACDSee, the print window that comes up displays my image , to be printed on 4x6 paper, like this: Click image for larger version

Name:	Screen Shot 2022-04-02 at 8.30.41 PM.png
Views:	100
Size:	359.3 KB

I cannot get the image to orient the same way as the paper (or vice versa). What am I doing wrong?

With Windows, on the right pane in "Printer parameters" there is an option "orientation" which may be set to "portrait" (vertical) or "landscape" (horizontal). With MAC I suppose those exist too.

Thanks for that lead. There is a "Print preferences" icon, and under it I did find, in the "General" column, an option to "Autorotate images for best fit". That does rotate the image, putting a landscape image on its end. I would be happier if the "paper" was rotated to suit the image orientation. But I will try it and see how it works when I print something.
