  • Can I auto-delete duplicates?

the duplicate finder is really fantastic! But it's a bit tedious having to select each dupe individually and delete them one by one. Is there a way to automate this so ACDSee just deletes all but one copy of whatever it found?

(in case you think this is risky, I assure you that it has never once made an error in identifying dupes!)

I don't have any experience with duplicate detection, but wondering about delet├Čng automatically. For instance will ACDSee differentiate between a file with the same name in a different folder that has been sharpened from the original? If not, there would be no way to predict which one to delete.

Actually I found a really great piece of software that does exactly what I want. It finds duplicates perfectly and then allows you to set rules for auto deletion based on folder, age etc

      Thanks
