  • place on map

    Hello everyone,

I try to post some photos on location via "place on map". The "map pane" appears, but remains white. No map will appear. Does anyone have a tip to fix this?

Depends on your version of Ultimate. If it is 2021 or earlier, then there is no fix other than updating to one of the newer versions that uses WebView2 for its map function. Google discontinued support for the older mao api that used Internet Explorer.11.

If it is version 2022 (build 2922) or version 2023, and if you can still see the Save All/Discard All/Reverse Geocode and Search for location buttons then you could try clearing the WebView2 browser cache.

With ACDSee closed, use Windows File Explorer to go to C:\Users\YourName\appdata\local\Temp\ACDWebViewCac he
In that folder you should find a folder ACDSee Photo Studio Ultimate 20xx (where xx is either 22 or 23 depending on your version. Delete that folder.
I would then reboot (though that may not strictly be necessary) and then restart ACDSee..

Applause for Greyfox! Your solution works right away and without restarting windows. I suggest we rename "Greyfox" to "GOLDFOX"!

      Thank you for your response.
