Definitely not a buggy version - there'd have been a lot more reports like this if it were, and yours is the only one. Have you tried repairing the installation? As Greyfox has said, this may well be one for support to deal with.

ACDSee Photo Studio Ultimate 2023 has been VERY stable for me. Not helpful, I know.

To me, that error code looks like a corrupt file, either an ACDSee file that got corrupted during download, or a Windows file, that got corrupted. What I would do is uUninstall ACDSee and then reinstall it. Oftentimes, that will fix the issue because errors in downloads are extremely common in an era where programs don't come on media any more.

If that doesn't work, I would contact Microsoft to see if they can help you identify the corrupt file.
