Tx, seen. Devil's in the details, literally. I'll have to do my own testing before I comment on the new features. There're some interesting changes.

      Thanks for the link.
Some of the changes are interesting but like Regor250, I will wait until I've done some testing to see how much benefit they will actually provide in my day to day use of ACDSee.

Unfortunately the presentation did not include any detail as to whether reported serious problems with the current version have been attended to (for example that the Filter options do not work when either the Quick Search, or Advanced search is used).

I guess I'll have to wait until the 2024 version is released to find out.

        Hello,
I currently have Ultimate 2021, and if I recall correctly, when I initially installed this version, I CONVERTED my previous version (2020).
So, if I purchase Ultimate 2024, is that still the same process? Will I install 2024, and then CONVERT the 2021 database?

The reason I am double-checking this is because when I chatted with someone in Sales on the website, they stated that I will IMPORT the 2021 database.
Which method is the correct way to do an upgrade? Thanks, Jerry

Without having seen 2024 my understanding and expectations is that the database will have to be Converted (semantic really) but, unlike previous versions we can also Import previous application settings, which we couldn't do before.

OK thanks, yes, I think that the Auto-Import for your settings is a nice feature, but looks like it only applies to versions 2022 and 2023.

              That is a distinct possibility.

                "Auto-Import Options
Upgrading to the Latest version of ACDSee Photo Studio has never been simpler. If you have ACDSee 2022 or 2023 installed, then upon first Launch of ACDSee Photo Studio 2024 your options will be automatically imported, allowing you to pick up where you Left off without skipping a beat Note: importing can only be done from the same edition. E.g. Ultimate to
                Ultimate."

                      Hello everyone,
                      I have a question...
If I install the English version U2024 when it becomes available to test it before the French version is released, will I be able to find my keywords used with U2023, French version?

Hi, I suppose so, ,keywords are stored in database and metadata.

All keywords will be ported over when you convert the database from U2023. The application language shouldn't matter.

                            @ brajaq and Regor250:
                            Thank you for your feedback.
If I have any problems converting the database from one version to another, I'll be sure to let you know.
