  • Correcting facial detection errors in View Mode

I have tried to find the answer to this question in the help menu. How do you correct auto named faces in View Mode? ACD has assigned names that are incorrect. Seems like there should be an easy way to do this?? I have a lot of mistakes in the database because two brothers are similar in appearance. One image has the correct name assigned, and the next image assigns the wrong name.

In View mode, make sure you have the Face Detection pane enabled. All detected faces in the selected image will be shown as thumbnails in the Face Detection pane and can be edited easily in that pane. (Just click on the name to edit)

In View mode you can also use Tools/Face Detection/ to Remove faces, Redetect faces, Rerun Recognition.
Also in the lower tool bar there is an icon for enabling or disabling "Show Face Outlines", and for the "Face Tool" which allows you to manually draw box around a face that has not been auto detected, and then name it.
