  • Is there a way to re-apply recently used keywords?

I just recently began to use ACDSee Ultimate 2023. I want to add keywords to my photos and have found how to do that in the Manage Mode, Properties Pane, Organize tab.
I mostly just begin to type the keywords I want to add and ACDSee nicely auto-completes what I am typing. I have also added a Quick Keywords Set for family-members so I can easily select those.
What I would like to be able to do is re-apply keywords that I have recently applied to other photos.
Is it for example possible to make a Quick Keywords Set that contains, say the last 10 applied keywords?
Or is there another way maybe to reapply recently used keyword to other photos?

One way is Copy Metadata-Paste Metadata.

Thanks Regor for the tip. In some cases that would work, but often I would like more fine-grained control about which metadata to copy/paste.

In the metadata panel you can define a preset for ACDSee metadata, which includes keywords (but not categories). If you find yourself constantly applying the same keywords, that's one other way to do it. Last but not least, you can always highlight the keywords you've just set for an image, hit Ctrl-C to copy, select multiple images, click on the keywords entry field, hit Ctrl-V to paste followed by the Enter key. This is so easy to do that creating a whole new feature just for that is kind of redundant. Got to remember, you can always set keywords as text rather than selecting with the mouse. Any text, from any source can be pasted in to set keywords.

          Thanks for that tip Regor250.
Just to be clear, this works for keywords shown in the Keyword entry box in the Properties/Organize tab, not in ACDSee Metadata/Keywords in the Properties/Metadata tab. It is a simple and quick way to copy a set of keywords from one image to another, or to a group of images, without copying other ACDSee Metadata.

Regor250 thanks for the clarification. I'll try to use that copy/paste option via the keywords entry field. Seems indeed like a more easy way to do it.
