You probably need to install Quicktime or one of the codecs.

Sorry, I'm not sure many people use ACDSee 18 for video, I don't. Maybe a request to tech support will be required.

  • ACDSee 18 Thumbnails and Viewing Non-Supported Videos

I would like to view videos within ACDSee 18 that are not supported by the program. Fro example, I currently view .mpg files with an external editor. But I think I can view .mpg files with the correct plug-in and therefore don't have to use the external editor. Can someone point me in the right direction as to how to add a plug-in for .mpg files?

Also, I have no thumbnail photos for my .mpg files. Is there any way I can have thumbnails for files not supported by ACDSee 18?

    Thanks.
