  • "Apple live" photo's arrive as a four image movie. Is there a fix for that?

First of all, FWIW, the main problem getting the transfer program to work from my iPhone to my PC was to manually open the firewalls and ransom wear protection to ACDsee Commander.
    So it's working.
Apple iPhone's now have a nifty "live" photo. There is are four frames embedded so as to look like your subject moves into the still shot. So you get one "still" JPEG, and one movie of four frames. Apple people know what I'm talking about. I don't know if Android does this or not.

My question: Is there a way to just get the photo, and not the four frames in the "mini movie"?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Chuckiechan,

In the Mobile Sync app's settings, under Photo and Video Handling, there is a Live Photos setting. Change this to "Still Only" to send only the photo part of the live photo.

    Thanks,
    Tristan H.
