Mobile Sync Not Working After Switching iPhones

Hi there! I've been using ACDSee for several years to manage photos. My wife and I really rely on Mobile Sync to copy pics to the PC. Recently my wife had to replace her iPhone. She restored everything including the Mobile Sync app. All settings are there as before, including the Default Target - at least when you're on the Settings screen. But if you select it, it says "No targets found". It shows as "Offline". Syncing still works from my iPhone to the exact same target. We've tried rebooting the PC and phone but no changes. Any recommendations? I really need to get this to work somehow! Any help will be appreciated .

Is your wife's new phone logged onto your Wifi network?

Also check on the PC that the Bonjour Service is running.

Yes to both. My phone and hers are on the same wifi network. I even took the physical PC that is the target system and put it on wifi temporarily just in case. But even when it's connected with a physical cable, it's on the same network/subnet. Again, works fine from my phone still.

Yes Bonjour Service is running. Again, it works fine from my iPhone so the PC side is working fine.

OK, then the only other suggestion I have is to uninstall just the mobile sync app from your wife's phone, then download and install a new copy of it.
Once it is installed, add the target using the QR code and see if it then works.

If that doesn't fix the problem, then I suggest you raise a support request at https://www.acdsee.com/en/support/form/

Thanks Greyfox! I'll try that tonight. We are on the 2020 version so no QR code, but I'll try to re-add manually.

Greyfox, a simple uninstall/reinstall did the trick! Works fine now. Uploading photos as we speak. Thanks for the help!

Hi Greyfox and anyone else who'd like to chime in ... I'm working my way through syncing my wife's photos/videos with the replaced iPhone. I'm now having a new issue where nearly all uploads fail with the message "An error occurred while transcoding the item". I compared the transcoding settings with my iPhone and they are identical. Mine is an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Her new phone is an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Could the version difference be an actual factor? As seen in the links below, I had to upgrade to the ACDSee 2020 version to get this to work with the iPhone 11. Could a new upgrade make it work with version 12? Any suggestions?

Well I upgraded to ACDSee Photo Suite Home 2022 and it made no difference. I also changed the Live Photos setting from Still + Video to Still Only and it made no difference after rebooting the phone. Anyone have a recommendation? Here are my settings which was working fine previously: These are all HEIC's that keep failing.

HEIC Transcode - On (JPEG Only)
HEVC (H.265) Transcode - On (H.264 Only)
