  • Exposure warning in manage mode

I have Photo studio Ultimate 2009 on 2 PCs.
One is fine, the other is showing the green lowlight and red highlight exposure warnings when viewing photos in manage mode.
The exposure warnings work fine in edit mode. I can turn them on and off, but they are very annoying when they show in manage mode.
Can someone tell me how to turn off the exposure warnings in manage mode.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled but no change.
    Thanks for the help.

I am somewhat confused by the version you refer to in your post. My understanding is that for Windows operating systems, ACDSee's "Ultimate" versions were not released until around 2014. Prior to that, from around 2006 there were two versions, ACDSee Photo Manager, and ACDSee Pro. A free version ACDSee Free was also introduced around 2012. There was not, as far as I can recall an ACDSee Ultimate 2009.

Can you clarify exactly what version you have from the Help/About (Version and build if shown).

In all the ACDSee Ultimate versions I've used, in "Manage" mode, one can view thumbnails, and if the preview pane is selected, a preview of the selected thumbnail and I don't recall the Exposure Warning being show on either of those.
    .
Where exactly are you actually seeing the red and/or green colors, in the thumbnails or in the preview. Perhaps a screen shot would help.

In recent "Ultimate" versions, the Exposure Warning is available in View Mode (via View/Exposure Warning, or toggled with the "E" key), in Develop Mode (Via the icon in the Develop Tools tab, or by pressing the "E" key), and in Edit mode (from the icon in the filters in the Exposure/Lighting group, or by pressing the "E" key when in one of those filters),

In Manage mode, in the Batch Adjust Exposure dialog, Exposure Warning can toggled on/off from the exposure warning icon on the dialog, but it only shows on the "After" preview image in that dialog.

Sorry that was a typo it was ver 2019.
You nailed the issue. Clearing the exposure warning tick box in edit mode fixed my problem.
      Thanks for your expert help
